Recap

It was a very tough game in Belgrade where raining BFL Champions Blue dragons hosted a Romanian Champion Bucharest Rebels on Sunday afternoon. First half went in a war of trenches where neither team let opponent score.

Blue Dragons had a big chance for early score but a TE Nešić Bojan fumbled a ball on a one yard line. Home team missed their chances to score twice in the red zone. Rebels defence led by Safety Demonte Bell did bend but did not broke until the half time. Second half brought first points on the board.

Rebels speedster RB Henry Owusu scored on a 11 yards touchdown run after a fumble recovery deep in the Blue Dragons territory. With a great effort of Blue dragons O-line crew and a few perfect passes from QB Ognjen Mitrović to WRs Aleksandar Anđelković, Luka Vukojević and Danijel Djordjić, home team went to a one yard QB sneak touchdown by Ognjen Mitrović, tying the game to 6-6.

Blue dragons defence was creating a nice pressure by OLBs and D-line never giving any chance to Rebels QB Solomon Agbabiaka completing a long pass. Blue Dragons offence made few impact power runs to move the ball deep to the Rebels territory. QB Mitrović found his wide out receiver Luka Vukojević for an 11 yards touchdown pass to make the final score of the game.
