Wild Dogs Novi Sad

The Wild Dogs American football club was founded 2013 due to the increasing need to provide adequate training and playing facilities for American football for children and young people.

In Serbia there are over thirty clubs of American football under the auspices of the Serbian Association of American Football (SAAF), which are achieving noticeable results in the regional and international scene. What differentiates Wild Dogs from other teams aside of promoting the sport itself is determination in creating a thriving environment for young domestic players and and their formation within the sport.

The Wild Dogs currently have about 20 school age players, 40 cadet and junior players, as well as a first league senior’s team with about 50 players. Wild Dogs coaches have international and Serbian coaching licenses to work with children, youth and senior players in American football.

Team’s mission is to help children grow and develop in sports as well as in life in general. In the capacity that is continually increasing over the years, they are encouraging the development of the individual athletic ability from an early age. Practices at Wild Dogs are held throughout the year, unlike many other, seasonal American football clubs. Although the Wild Dogs are a young club, their goal is to become the best American football club in the region.

Some of team’s greatest successes are winning the Second Serbian Division and advancing to First Division of National Championship, multiple First and Second places in Junior categories, as well as doyens of players selected for Youth and Senior selections of Serbian National Team.
